Nat Cummins

Nat Cummins (she/they) is a Berlin-based music industry consultant and founder of Red
Tape Music, an independent label supporting emerging punk, alternative and heavy artists.
With over 15 years of experience across the global music industry, Nat has worked in
copyright, licensing, label operations and artist development, including roles at EMI Records,
Ministry of Sound, SoundCloud and CloudKid.
Through their consultancy and label work, Nat supports independent artists in navigating
release campaigns, digital platforms and the wider music ecosystem. Their work focuses on
making the business side of music more transparent and accessible for emerging artists.
Nat is a member of the Music Leaders Network and has spoken at industry events including
Most Wanted: Music.
Alongside running Red Tape Music, Nat writes Unlabelled, a newsletter that breaks down
complex music industry topics into practical guidance for independent musicians
