Petra Sitzenstock organised her first punk concerts at the local youth centre as a teenager, through a non-profit organisation she co-founded. She later worked for various agencies, where she was responsible for booking and artist support.

After moving to Berlin in 2001, she co-founded the booking agency Rocky Beach Club with a long-time colleague and ran the agency until 2011. During this time, alongside booking and management, she also worked as a tour manager, travelling far and wide.

From 2011 to 2021, Petra worked at the Clubcommission Berlin, where she was responsible for developing its advisory department. She is still active in the advisory pool of the Club Culture Hub, where she focuses particularly on questions around founding and developing clubs.

Petra is also part of the crew of various festivals and events – and when time allows, you might even find her happily sitting at the door of a small underground concert, just for the fun of it.

With more than 30 years of experience in the live music scene, Petra has been part of the Music Pool Berlin team since 2014. She advises musicians, bands and collectives on topics including funding and applications, booking & touring, concert and event organisation, setting up and running projects and organisations, and sustainable career development in the music industry.
