DESCRIPTION:A workshop on artist bios\, press copy\, and taking control of your narrative \nA two-decade practice of writing press releases and artist bios\, distilled into two days. \nDay 1 (3 hrs) — The Artist Bio. 2 pm to 5 pm \nDay 2 (3 hrs) — The Press Release. 2 pm to 5 pm \nThis isn’t a writing class\, and it isn’t an AI class. It’s a process: extracting the key narratives\, building the architecture of your text\, and finding the specific language — the palette — that reflects who you are and what your music is right now. \nAI is not a shortcut here\, and we won’t be using it to write. If you can write\, you’ll write. If you need a scaffold\, it’s there — AI solves a problem I couldn’t solve before: how to support artists who struggle with prose without turning the whole thing into a beginner’s writing class. What it also makes possible is a different kind of research: mining film reviews\, art criticism\, or any cultural reference point for the exact phrases and metaphors that embody your sound. And when you’re too deep in your own work to see it clearly\, it helps you get a clear signal back. \nBecause whether someone googles you or asks an AI assistant\, what comes back is a synthesis of every text that exists about you online. If you don’t write that story\, the internet will.

SUMMARY:Artist Meetup - xMAS
DESCRIPTION:Zum Jahresende möchten wir noch einmal die Bühne für ein Artist Meetup öffnen\, bei uns im House of Music\, und mit einigen Specials und Überraschungen. \nDas Artist Meetup bietet Künstler*innen und Musikschaffenden eine Plattform um sich vorzustellen\, andere Musikprojekte kennenzulernen\, sowie sich über Möglichkeiten einer Zusammenarbeit auszutauschen. Es bietet Einblicke woran andere Musiker:innen gerade arbeiten und eine Möglichkeit Musiker:innen aus verschiedenen Musikszenen Berlins kennenzulernen. \nWir haben 6 Slots für Live Performances zu vergeben. Alle auftretenden Künstler*innen haben ca. 10 min um 2 Songs oder Tracks live zu performen\, mit einfachem Setup. Die Bühne kann genutzt werden\, um zu erwähnen was sie gerade suchen\, um nach Feedback zu fragen oder ähnliches. \n  \nIm Anschluss gibt es bei Drinks und Musik die Gelegenheit miteinander (auch mit denen die nicht präsentieren) zu den Projekten ins Gespräch zu kommen\, Leute zu finden\, die am Projekt mitarbeiten möchten\, Ideen und Kontakte auszutauschen\, gemeinsam weiter zu kommen als alleine. \nEs wird auch Möglichkeiten geben jenseits der Bühne zu kommunizieren was ihr gerade sucht oder anbietet. Wir freuen uns auf einen regen Austausch – zwischen unterschiedlichen Szenen\, zwischen verschiedenen Interessen und Erfahrungen\, und auf einem neuen gemeinsamen Weg. \nAuch wenn ihr nicht präsentiert\, kommt vorbei! \nWenn du beim Artist Meetup auftreten bzw. präsentieren möchtest\, fülle bitte bis zum 21. November 2025 dieses Formular aus. \nDas Artist Meetup ist eine gute Gelegenheit\, eine tolle Show mit ganz unterschiedlicher Musik zu sehen\, Musiker*innen verschiedener Szenen und Genres kennenzulernen\, sowie Kollaborationen zu finden.

SUMMARY:Shut the F*ck Up – Silencing Your Inner Critic
DESCRIPTION:That little voice in your head that keeps whispering “not good enough”? Or\, when it kicks down the door\, guns blazing: “You suck! You’ll never make it!” Yeah\, we’re going to have a chat with that one. In this workshop\, you’ll learn how to recognize your inner critic\, uncover where it comes from\, spot the tricks it uses to mess with you\, and—most importantly—turn it from an enemy into an ally. Expect playful stream-of-consciousness writing\, mindfulness hacks\, and group sharing that proves you’re not the only one dealing with this. \nThis workshop grew out of my LET THAT INK FLOW practice\, so we’ll be using writing as a way to dig deeper\, loosen up\, and rewire the patterns that trip us up. You’ll leave with a practical toolkit to keep you in the zone—even when the monsters of self-doubt try to crash your writing session.
